James L. Bouchard, D.P.M.


Dr. Bouchard was born in Philadelphia, PA and was raised in Pensacola, FL.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Florida and his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine  degree from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine (Temple University).  Following a year of residency at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center, San Antonio, TX, he completed an additional two years of surgical training at Doctors Hospital, Tucker, GA (Emory-Northlake Regional Medical Center). He is a faculty member of the Podiatry Institute and has lectured extensively as well as authored numerous articles and publications.  Dr. Bouchard formerly served as Director of Podiatric Residency Training at the Atlanta Veterans Administration Medical Center, Decatur, Georgia.  He has been practicing in the Greater Atlanta area since 1977 and is the founder and Medical Director of Allied Ankle and Foot Care Centers.  Dr. Bouchard practices at the Athens, Decatur and Lawrenceville offices.

 

Anastasia Thomas-Lewis, D.P.M.


Dr. Thomas-Lewis was born in Washington D.C. and lived in New Haven, CT.   Dr. Thomas attended Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. There  she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Africana studies, with a minor in Pre-med and Psychology.  She received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree  from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, New York, NY in 2002. She completed two different residency programs, one in Brooklyn, NY and one in Queens, NY.  While in residency, she received extensive training in conservative and surgical treatment of conditions of the foot, ankle and leg. Dr. Thomas has been in Georgia and at Allied for 5 ½ years and lives with her husband and two children, ages 14 and 8.  She enjoys bowling and reading and going to her children’s softball and basketball games.  Dr. Thomas joined Allied Ankle and Foot Care Centers in 2006 and practices at the Athens, Decatur, Lawrenceville and Riverdale offices.

 

David Bell, D.P.M.


Dr. BellDr. Bell was born and raised in Long Island, NY.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from State University of New York at Albany and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Temple University in 2002.  He accomplished a two-year surgical residency at Jackson North Medical Center (formerly Parkway Regional) in North Miami Beach, FL and has gained extensive experience in the surgical as well as conservative treatment of the foot, ankle, and leg. Dr. Bell has a particular interest in the management of diabetic infections and wounds; deformities, and trauma.  He was practicing in New Jersey for four years prior to joining Allied Ankle and Foot Care Centers in 2008.  Dr. Bell is married to a native of Atlanta and has a son and daughter. He enjoys tennis, hiking, jazz, and anything automotive. Dr. Bell practices at the Decatur, Powder Springs, Riverdale, and Roswell office locations.
